Here we are again, can barely believe we are already going to be 5 months into this year! Craziness! This past month has been a great one. We decided where we are going to graduate school. We are going to........CORNELL in Ithaca, NY!!!!! We are SO very excited to accept this new adventure and dive into it this Fall. I'm very proud of John having been accepted to this great school which will hopefully bring us many opportunities in the future.

We were threatened with tornadoes at the beginning of the month. There were tornado warnings all over the place. There were some that even touched down and destroyed a place that is only 1 hour 30 min. away from us! Luckily and thankfully we were able to just stay home. We were ready to go if we had to. It was pretty crazy. Family and friends in Utah even heard on the radio that there were tornado touchdowns in Dallas so they were calling making sure we were ok, which was very nice, thank you!

Rewind a bit..at the end of March, we had a surprise party for our good friend Jordan! He had no clue, it was awesome. We surprised him with his favorite pizza (with the help of his lovely fiance Mady) and chocolate cake! Then we went and watched the Hunger Games. It was a fun night!

We then we had a very Happy Easter thanks to our parents.

We hid eggs for each other to find!

And my Easter wreath that my mom and I both made when she came to visit, so fun!

Next cool thing was I went to Time Out for Women in Arlington with some friends. It was SO good and something I really needed. We all loved it. I felt like I was in Utah again. :)

With "the" Dean Hughes! And he signed my book that he wrote. Pretty cool if you ask me! He was a great speaker too.

John is in YM and I am in YW and so one mutual night with the youth, we were privileged enough to go to Fox 4 news station and get a special tour by "the" Steve Eagar! It was awesome! It was also really interesting to see how everything works behind the scenes.

Us on TV! Well kind of..it wasn't live, but it's the exact place where they shoot live TV! So that is what we would look like if we were on live TV.

Next thing we did this month was we had a garage sale with our friends. And this was John's job....haha!!

He was REALLY excited if you can't tell by his face...I laughed so hard..haha oh how I love that man.

I made some subway art to sell.

I also started a feather headband business called Foxy Featherbands and so I tried to sell some at the garage sale. Note to self, don't sell brand new items at a yard sale. It looked cute though! :)

I also started to do some photo shoots and I absolutely love it! I have always loved photography and so I'm finally doing something about it! :) Here are some of my favorites pictures from some of the shoots:

And the last thing we did was we went to a....

Texas Rangers Baseball game!! It was a blast!! It was also my very 1st Major League Baseball game!

We had awesome seats! It looks far away in the pic, but it really wasn't. P.S. the stadium was amazing.

The Mavs were also playing their 1st playoff game, so John had to make sure he was supporting them too by sporting his Dirk jersey.

John was ready with his mitt the entire game to catch a foul ball, but none came our way unfortunately...

Oh! and I almost forgot one other thing we did this month. We chaperoned the Mormon Prom at Eddie Deans=best BBQ in Texas. It is that good! It was really fun and I felt like I was in high school again. Some boys there even thought I was in high school...haha! I get that all the time for some reason...weird.
